How It Works

A clear path from opportunity to approved, reported grant.

Every grant is unique, but the journey follows the same five phases. Here is what working with Fairchild Grants and Consulting looks like, start to finish.

1

Planning

We sit down with your key team members to gather everything the project needs — program goals, intended outcomes, participating buildings — and shape the plan for carrying it out.

2

Grant Writing & Submission

We draft the full application narrative, build the budget spreadsheet, request and collect letters of support from each building's Administrator, assemble every attachment, and submit the completed package.

3

Revisions & Corrections

If the funder sends the application back with questions or requests for more information, we handle every correction and clarification needed to keep it moving forward.

4

Follow-Up Through Award

We stay in touch with the funder and your leadership through biweekly check-ins until a decision comes back — typically a six-to-eight-month window — so the application never goes quiet.

5

Project Reporting

Once the grant is approved, we prepare and submit the annual project reports the funder requires — for one-year grants that is a single report, for multi-year grants it is one each year of the cycle.
